Yesterday, my family and I went to Busch Gardens. We were walking across the whole entire park because we all really wanted to ride this ride, where you get really soaked. once we were there, we saw that none of the rafts were moving. And we turned around to look at all of the other rides and saw that they were closed down because it was really windy. Then we started hearing thunder and before we knew it, it started raining. we all decided that we should all leave because it never cleared up in 20 minutes. so we were on our way to the exit. we all got really soaked so we went to one of the gift shops so we could take a break from the bad weather. in about 15 more minutes, it started raining alot harder. it lightened up a little later so we ran to the exit. if you people who are reading this post know that there are trams that take us from the parking lot to the entrance of the park, we were waiting for one of those to take us back for five minutes and then we all thought that the trams closed down also. so we all had to walk allll the way back to the parking lot. it took us about 10 minutes. along the way there, there were huge puddles with the water level being alot higher than my ankles. so alot of water went into my shoes and socks. my feet became heavy with water so i decided to walk the rest of the way barefoot. I did, then I lost one of my socks. so i just put my shoes back on because my feet were getting really sore from walking on the blacktop all the way back to the parking lot. when we got to our car, my mom put the keys in and the engine wouldn't start. so we just sat there for about an hour and finally, the car just started. then we were on our way home. and then we got caught in traffic. we got home in 3 hours... and i just fell asleep as soon as we got home. good night people.
