In continuation of this journal entry, I decided to skim over some threads in the Gaia Guides and Resources forum (sub forum in the Q&A btw) just to see if there are any ways to change or modify how Gaia runs on my computer (like the Gaia Toolbar that is downloadable). So while reading through some topic titles in the wee hours of the morning, first I came across this thread. At first I was like, "No way..." then I installed it (after finally getting the updated version of Firefox) and VOILA! Big avatar is back! I'm so happy.

But the happiness does not stop there. Yes, you know of all those threads and petitions complaining about the new orange logo and the people at the beach on the header? Well, I also came across this thread, which shows you how to customize your header to whatever you want it to be. So I have the old red haired guy and cat girl back in my little circle instead of the beach people. It is supremely excellent.

I suggest that you try them out too. They make the new Gaia look a lot better and similar to what it used to be.
