🤔 Sɪᴍᴘʟᴇ Lɪғᴇ Tʜᴏᴜɢʜᴛs 💭
This'll be what I'm thinking about. Whether it be from books I've read to experiences I've had, you'll find all sorts of stuff here. The purpose is either to entertain or give some life advice, so I hope you enjoy if you're interested!
I'm a Failure at Failing

A Life Issues thread response

A good way to help yourself along the way is also to find someone older and wiser than you, a mentor of sorts. I have a friend who I hang out with on occasion who is 50, twice my age! He's got 13 kids, is old, grumpy, and mean, but I listen to him and ask him for advice when I come across something I need help with. He will tell give me advice and I would trust him because he's lived longer than me, and his advice so far has yet to fail me. Find someone to place your trust in who is older and wiser than you to help you feel more comfortable with trying new things. They will be a shoulder to cry on when things don't pan out and a dear friend to share good experiences and stories of success with. Failure will happen, but it's how you deal with it that helps you grow! Someone there to comfort and guide you will help you deal with it better than if you were all alone. If it is work or school related, find a peer who is working the same job or studying the same major who you get along well with. Ask them for advice when you come across something that you don't feel comfortable with. People are meant to live in communities where they can be encouraged and comforted by others living life alongside them.

Long story short, find someone who has got their life together or are sharing similar experiences as you and ask them for advice.
