It was a normal day like any other, untill it wasnt...

It started innocently enough, the Sun rose and the sky brightened...but the brightness contined to shine as around the world a new day dawned.

That day was not so much a "A Day Of Reckoning" nor was it a "Day Of Judgement" persay, it was certainly a day that was remembered by the few pockets of humanity left living after the "Days Of Fire" which is the title given it post apocalypse.

That day many millions left Earth in milli-seconds as atomic fission reduced them and many miles of land and property to ash and embers if not completely vaporizing all of it.

And to think, a normal day and the end of much of the life on Earth itself ended due to one small coding error cascading through less than 2 or 3 networked nation defense computers which provoked responses from the world at large in retailitory respones in kind to a Error....0110100101101001..nothing more.

As with any destruction a few survivors did manage to weather the onslaught of radtion and devastation and eek out a basic life afterwards, and as well a few "Scrapers" the nomads of this new world also exsist finding what little remains and repurposing those treasures in this world so different than the one before.

And with that, this ends Journal Entry #36523 as I turn in for the night in my little camp before exploring a nearby ruin, a small town that look slighty worse for ware but promising as it looks to have been spared a point blank detonation.
