It's been quiet...
The best part about Null Crystal escort missions, happens to be the fact that I can reach Gold Beach and look out for any unusual activity. There's been nothing. I snuck off from my post at Barton Town's south gate today to assist someone up to Gold Beach's Null Chamber. It went smooth. There was no sign of the man in purple, no sign of the blonde woman, and no sign of any shapeshifter. I didn't even see Balthazar. I could have sworn I should have at least caught a glimpse of him. Things aren't adding up. I don't know if I should tell Lawrence or Balthazar that we need more Regulars up at Gold Beach or if I should suggest it to Leon. I don't know...but I'm going to be keeping watch. I have to prove to Balthazar that I'm not lazy...and that I am a worthy member of the patrol squadron. I may be in the fourth ranks, but I still have some say over some of the other Regulars. I mean...if that even counts anymore. I'm getting that promotion...Balthazar better watch out. He'll be demoted because of me. Watch!
