The newest RIG set came out and ... ok here is another story.
I bought a plus RIG pack with the last collection and was pissed off to open it and find more than half were paw items. I was so pissed in fact I just stopped coming to Gaia for a few weeks. I did not want to be tempted to spend any money,
Anyway, fast forward to yesterday. I did it again, i bought a plus pack and once again was ******** to find more than half the items were paw (cocksuckers, really)
so i went and vented a little - ok, a lot - i can type out a storm when i am feeling annoyed - but i preface this post with "do not read - just venting"
why is there always some a*****e who needs to BE an a*****e with unwarranted comments and advice in forums? the pressing story
anyway, the point of it besides the venting and the bullshit was that I ended up getting 3 much sought after items, 2 of which are the item to get from this set, plus 4 other really great items - and all from purchasing individual RIGs as opposed to buying them in a pack to save 50 GC - i got 8 singles in total and only 1 of them was a paw item and thereby useless to me - each of the other 7 items were amazing.
comparitively, when i paid more than triple the amount I spent on the 8 singles I got next to nothing. I got a pile of paw items plus 2 recolours of Ambrosial Cozy for Mew - this is an item i would typically have liked except the colours are IMO awful and not something id ever use or purchase if they were on sale for under 1K -
so there you have it - never, ever purchase the plus packs - i mean you are supposed to be guaranteed to get good items and that just isnt the case.
I don;'t buy RIGs a whole lot anyway and i just got stupid yesterday - lesson learntIF i ever take part in a RIG sales event again, I'll just buy a couple of singles and ******** packs, it just isnt worth it to save 50GC -
idk why i bothered to go into this again - i just needed to write out something in my journal since I've been lacking in this regard ...now i wont feel guilty for not writing out some whole damned piece for at least a couple of weeks razz
