i don't know what to do on Gaia anymore. I mean I get a kick out of messingwith my avatar, but my ideas dry up. Then i got into making avatars for sale which do really well. I am amazed by people who put out there 400,000.00 plat avis (too much?yeah I know) idk but i think anyone who dumps a 400K plat avi in there has wishful thinking - First off, with all the shittyshit in there - have you looked recently? or ever? i mean its pretty shite for the most part, which was got me thinking about making them in the first olace. Make something super cute and affordable for perhaps newer Gaians on the site - or even something cute for older Gaians who remain old school, refuse to spend much and just want something new or different ... but anyone with any real dosh isnt looking in outfits for their look. They want a single item ... not some a*****e thinking they're going to
dress them on top of gouging them. Most of those people know exactly what they need for a specific look and just want the damned item. IF they look in outfits they may simply be looking for the chance that someone is literally giving away a single item cheap cuz they don't care or dont know better.
To think to yourself .... hmmm, Im going to make this really expensive avatar using 5 pretty costly things (and more times than not suck at it) they're just completely delusional.
The most I'll charge for an avatar is ... i think 8-10K tops. I am trying to remember how much my most expensive one was ... so it was between those amounts I believe. I have posted every avatar I had made to sell, with it's selling price, in my favorites under the folder "avatars for sale" or something like that.
I try to make them as low as possible. People have to remember a few important things when looking at the prices listed- they need to click on each item to see the actual price the items are going for - they may be much higher or lower than perceived - only then can you know if this is a good deal or no
