So yeah. You must be wondering, "Well, who is 'she'?"
My Godmother, who happens to be my father's older sister.
She arrived in Houston at around 4PM. My mom, my aunt, and I drove over to the airport to pick her up at around 3:30PM, and I certainly must say that the airport wasn't as big as I imagined. I suppose that's because the last time I traveled by plane, I was so tiny that I thought everything was humungous.
sweatdrop
My mom waited in the car whilst my aunt and I went in to comb the place for her. We found mi Madrina leaving the gate, and the next fifteen minutes were swarmed with "knock you off your feet and suffocate you" kisses, luggage, and extremely quickly-spoken Spanish trailing around me until we got home and relaxed and snacked on the Chick-Fil-A we grabbed along the way.
(Hey, you'd be starving too if you just came back from a flight that only offered water and bagels, and you only ate once the whole day, when you've been awake since 6 in the morning!)
I had a Kids Meal. Yum. ^_^
So mi Madrina was telling us about being a grandmother for the very first time; her youngest daughter had just given birth to a precious baby boy named Matteo.
"My daughter used to be the biggest slop on the planet," she told us, "and never cleaned or scrubbed or wiped. But after she had this child, she won't let us wear shoes into the house, we have to wash our hands every time we touch something that isn't the baby, and we never eat at Wendy's anymore! But I've never been so happy for her."
Jimena (my aunt's 4-year-old daughter, who currently has developed a strange rash - Damn, I hope it doesn't ruin our trip to the beach next week! - on her arms and face) and Isabel are playing outside my room right now . . . Someone just slammed something against my door. ._.
Wow, they're rowdy.
They're playing in the gameroom with their Polly Pockets -
And now they're gone.
rolleyes
Oh yes! Madrina gave us all presents. I don't know what she got the kids (She gave me my present first, and they weren't present. They were at Isabel's swimming lessons with Giomy) but I do know what she got me. Duh. xd
She got me four new cosmetic shtuffs, all from the brand Karma Beauty: One stick of lip gloss, one pack of lip gloss with a little brush to go with it, a little pack of eyeliner, and a little pack of blush.
4laugh
I needed some for my purse, oh so urgently.

I'm glad she's here; not only because of the gifts, but because she's such a wonderful, beautiful lady who loves us so much, and I haven't seen her in five-six years.
We ate at Pei Wei (Mongolian Beef is <3.) and had a badass time there, minus the fact I thought I had lost my phone, but it was such a relief to find it here on my dresser, unharmed.
*phew*
Well, that's basically how my day went.
*waves fingers about* Like my new nailpolish? It's purdy pink.
whee
