Jack ran towards his beloved Pumkin Clan tree and searched all around for the newbie kid. " Hmm..Did she find her name yet...hmm? I can't remember..! OH! YEA! SHE DID- Her bounded one is that dude Hiei..heh, wonder how that'll work out.." Jack often mused himself by doing just this, rammbling on and on and ON and normally didn't stop until his own tongue dried up and crumbled within his jaw. However, as he conversed with himself, his empty sockets found their way staring right into the face of a very tired looking stoney faced friend of his.

"AKK- OH! Good GOD, you scared the femers outta me Gargoyle!" Laughing, Jack rammed his skeletal fist playfully on the shoulder of his good buddy. " SO S'UP G-MAN? Seen Crow or S-"

" Jack, quit the yammerin'. We got ourselves a problem...it has to do with the ceremony tonight. " Gargoyle said calmly to his friend, his dark almost villanious voice shot through Jack's ears like a rock to the head.

"REALLY!? DANGS IT! Ok, lets go- oh hey, have you seen the newbie yet? I don't think she knows about the initiation thing tonight." Pulling his black hood up over his skull, Jack sighed silently to himself. Things sure didn't sound good, whatever was going on must be bad, and in the Land of Tormented Souls..when somethings bad, it sure isn't the type of bad your mommy or daddy could take care of for you. Nope. Things around the LOTS were more complicated than that.

" New arrival, please be sure to be ready for the Initiation ceremony tonight. I don't want you making my clan look foolish. " In the dark corners of the Land of Tormented Souls rested the infamous Shadow Clan, and at that moment, Kuro was busy being a big fat pain in the warrior's butt.
"Yea, whatever you say..'dad'. " Laughing to herself, she glanced back at him not really caring if he took her mock offensive.
"Hmph. It'll take more than petty insults to drive me away..and trust me, you don't want to be the one who makes me mad.." He walked off feeling rather superior, his shiney black shoes glistening along the shadowed ground upon which he walked on.

"Why I outta-" Stepping in front of the girl was the young boy named Michell, his hand touched on her sleeve as he held her in place. " Don't let him get to ya..he grates on everybodies nerves. Around here, we all call him..the big ugly, ' greasy a**' !" Chuckling, Mich sighed and looked back up at the warrior girl. " Hmm..don't worry, tonight you'll get signed into the Book of the Dead and then it'll all be over. He wont bother ya again after that, he likes to keep to himself alot. "

Grim watched some young children run around hoopin and hollerin at each other, times like these assured him that he did the right thing leaving Billy and Mandy behind. " Heh, kids...Now THESE kids I might've been able to deal with for eternity..nice regular kids..but now, I had to get stuck with 'Daughter to Satan' and her dimwitted friend 'STUPID' ..hm? OH RIGHT!" Grim hadn't come to the hillside to watch the kids play, he came to find the two suicidalists to tell them of the Initiation.
"Hmm..I wonder where they are...its like findin' a needle in a haystack...and the haystack is on fire. Heh, dat was a good one. "
