Man, I hate it when writers don't research their assignments. Or even WORSE ignore their research. Which brings me to only the second comic writer to EVER be put on my permenant s**t list, Adam Beechan.
Robin 148 was pretty good, 149 was good as well. However they were predictable. 150 was almost offensive. 151 makes me hate the writer with a burnign passion of a billion yellow suns.
Really, what possessed this man to take a character who could barely talk, could kick your a** eight ways from Sunday and had sworn off killing, to such an extreme point SHE BROKE INTO A MAXIMUM SECURITY PRISON TO STOP A STATE ORDERED EXECUTION, to an Eloquent, speech giving, barely able to fight off Robin, cap popping Terrorist?
DO YOUR DAMNED RESEARCH YOU a**-SPELUNKER!!
One Year Later has happened in comics, and the ONLY good storylines right now are Superman, and ( according to Neko) Supergirl. Robin is so poorly written it almost makes me willing to give up buying the series, and Teen Titans pulled a Brian Michael Bendis ( great build up, major sucky ending. Seriously reading one of his stories is like watching a porno with no money shot)
I blame Dan DiDio for the sorry state of DC right now. He's the head editor, he should be handling his writers better. Instead of giving Geoff Johns run of the place, talk Kurt Busiek into coordinating the entire universe into some semblance of Good. I really don't know about Batman though, as Robin is the only Bat Family book I read. Grant Morrisson takes over next month, and his second issue has Batman vs an army of Ninja Manbat, so We'll see where it goes.
