Goddamnit, I hate waking up in the cold. Geez.
Haha, when no one was looking, I changed the temperature to 90 degrees. In less than four minutes, it was warm enough to get undressed, and change into my swimsuit.
whee
And I just got my period - (You didn't really have to know that, but whatever.) - so I had to take care of some business *hails Midol Menstrual* before we left for the beach on foot.
Yes! We're that close to the beach!
biggrin
For about 2 hours, we enjoyed the sun, sand, and surf. I wore an inch-thick layer of sunscreen and jumped over waves with my Godmother, Mumsy, Giomy, Isabel and Jimena, and Dad came a little later to be with us.
It was little Jimena's first time in the ocean, so she was a little shaky at first. Same with Isabel; she gets scared of big things easily. (********, I'm the same way!)
But they got over it at their own pace and were grateful that we decided to go by the time we loaded up the bags and headed back to the beach house.
I took a shower, dressed - (I was too tired to go back later in the afternoon) - and fell asleep on the lower bunk of the bunkbed upstairs for about 3 hours.
*rubs sunburned temples*
We snacked on black beans, rice, and shredded beef for dinner. I'm also getting into the regular ruitine of drinking water as much as possible. >w<
(Besides my temples, I am completely clear of burns, unlike last year. *remembers and shudders*)
We just got back from looking at the beach houses by Rosemary Beach, and I only have one thing to say:
Wow.
Those are some incredible beach houses.
Lookit this.
And this.
... And this.
Those are only some examples of what we saw as we strolled through.
(For more pics, lookie here.)
So, I'm gonna go change into my 'jamies, ya'll.
Before I go, Tomas finally got his birthday gifts in the mail today from yours truly, which include: pictures I drew of him, a shirt/necklace/pair of flip flops all from American Eagle, three birthday cards, and a pair of Franny's knickers.

Well, that's day two of my beautiful vacation here in the Sunshine State!

Song of the moment: "Concierto de Aranjuez, Allegro con Spirito" by Julian Bream.
Mood: Happy to smell like salt and surf, sleepy, wants to watch a movie/TV with someone special. Particularly, "Carlos Mencia: NO STRINGS ATTACHED" with my aunt.
