Plots! Plots! #106 - Instruments opening attempt
Reed was the most beautiful town in all of Orchestra. Though the people of the Winds had settled in the city long ago, nature thrived alongside the population. Trees lined every walkway, and large displays of artfully placed flowers brightened the atmosphere. The rustic style of the buildings always made me feel warm and welcome, even when it snowed in the winter. At the city's centre, the parliament building stood strong though greying with age. Its stone walls was reminiscent of the peace between the Winds and the Brass, who once upon a time provided the materials for the building from their quarries.

Being a crossroads between four of the Winds cities, Reed was a hub for tourism. Only a short shuttle bus ride north was needed to reach the calming lakes of Oboe, if you wanted to spend the day by the water. The bustling markets of Clarinet was a bit of a trek east, but the stalls promising food and handmade crafts were often enough to entice visitors and locals alike to make the trip. It was also quite close to Bassoon's forests, parks, and hiking trails in the south, and to Saxophone's foundries in the west. It was my hometown - a place full of happy childhood memories, of diverse people and culture, and a place where I felt everyone could belong.

It is a shame to see it torn to shreds by the army on live television.
