Witch/Cursed or afflicted

Fiona sat in the garden with her apron on harvesting some herbs she planned to hang out to dry later for some salves she planned to make to sell out at market in town the 'morrow. Today was especially warm so she elected to wear a simple sun dress. It wouldn't really matter what she wore really seeing how her cottage was far enough away from town and set back just far enough in the woods that you couldn't see it from the road. She had it that way on purpose. She preferred to live away from all of the noise and the technology never really worked well with her and her gifts. I mean she had the basics like plumbing, AC/heating and lights. She decided to forgo anything else really except for a phone and internet for music. She didn't have a tv or a computer. She liked keeping things simple.
Fiona got up and went inside rinsing and patting dry her herbs before stringing them and hanging them in the kitchen for later. She sighed and grabbed a cold glass of tea before having a seat in her front room. It had a couch and a long table with a few mix matched chairs and a rug in the middle of the floor. The sofa was old but comfy with cute little throw pillows. Beyond that directly forward was the kitchen and back door that led to the garden. To the right of the front room was a small hallway that led to a guest room on the immediate left, bathroom n the immediate right and at the end of the hall was her room. She layed her head back on the couch and closed her eyes.
