Fun With Magic: The Gathering Part Two: Rakdos + Green=MEAN! (Standard Legal) Here's our little friend Rakdos: A new way to clear the board, but to enhance his ability: Every nontoken creature becomes Graveborns and Saprolings, which can also be sacrificed for Rakdos. This should buy you time to get more actual creatures on the board, so you can get more tokens. But, another fun card to add to the mixture: This will mean you will have probably cleared the enemy board of their pesky little creatures. The Graveborn and Saproling sacrifices with Savra cancel out the life loss/gain. Strike again, and your opponent will most likely fall. The Deck: Lands: 6 Forest 8 Swamp 5 Mountain 1 Blood Crypt 1 Rakdos Carnarium 2 Overgrown Tomb 1 Golgari Rot Farm Creatures: 2 Rakdos the Defiler 2 Savra, Queen of the Golgari 2 Sek'kuar, Deathkeeper 4 Sakura tribe Elder 2 Ohran Viper 2 Raging Goblin 2 Rakdos Guildmage 2 Golgari Guildmage 2 Hand of Cruelty Enchantments: 4 Golgari Germination Sorceries: 4 Kodama's Reach 2 Lava Spike Instants: 4 Last Gasp 2 Darkblast In the end:Start by using cheap spells to wear down your opponent, and use mana acceleration.
