When I logged in yesterday, I noticed the Announcement Bulletin Newsletter about the new avatar system being added. So with that in mind I had many questions circling about in my mind. One of the bigger questions that concerned me was whether the admins remembered about the Gaians with zombie status. So after Cindy made the announcement about the system being ready, I went straight to dress up to change my avatar...
But when I clicked on 'Unequip All Items' I was left with this as my avatar:
Then, because I'm all for taking advantages of glitches even though it's not a good thing to do, I decided to start playing around with some of my avatar's outfits on my armless avatar with the intention of not saving it because I knew that I'd eventually be re-saved anyways:
Then I made this one and thought it was pretty funny because it looked like my KiKi was floating in front of me; so I chucked and went to his Cancel Changes to make my avatar go back to normal, but accidentally hit Save Changes and this was my avatar gonk :
So I went offline after that and came back on today to see that an Admin had re-saved my avatar... but it wasn't my avatar, if that makes any sense. You see, when I logged in, I saw my naked avatar in the corner of my screen, but I was back to being a human gonk ! It really scared me:
So I debated whether or not to make a new topic about it in the Q&A, then I realized how stupid I am and did the most obvious thing... went to 'Dress Up' and re-saved my avatar and my zombie status returned, thank God.
It was really weird to see myself as a human avatar again... I haven't seen those eyes on my avatar nor skin tone since last Halloween! Just 3 more months, and it will be the zombification anniversary! I wonder what is in store for next Halloween confused ? I wonder if we'll be re-saved as humans and a different zombie/grombie status will be avaliable?
One can only wonder, as it is that only the admins are the ones with all the future-telling abilites.
