When I woke up this morning, around 9:00, our weekly maid had started to clean our house. I woke up only in time to run downstairs so she could clean my room. (She’s very shy.) And brought with me ‘The Color Purple’. I read, in my mothers room, out of her way so she could clean, and the moment she said ‘Good bye’ I don’t think I have felt more alone in my entire life. My mom is out of town, and my sister and dad were at work. So I was home alone, during the summer, and I live on a ranch a good 10 or 15 miles away from the nearest gas station. I did like I always do, checked my mail on Gaia, checked my email, checked DA, checked Y1 Gallery, washed my face and brushed my teeth, then got back on the computer and dabbled.

So you can pretty much see where this is going. I was bored out of my mind, feeling utterly alone and pitiful, when I got a phone call from a kid at my school named Sam. He told me about a school event that I had promised to be at, but had forgotten about. I told him I would try to be there, but that I didn’t have a ride. He said he would drive out and get me if I couldn’t find one. So ok, things are looking up. My mom then gets on AIM, and I tell her what’s going on. She agrees to tell Sam directions to where I live if I can reach him, so I he can give me a ride to the event. I try to call the number he called me from, to find out he was using his girlfriends phone, so I call my other friend to see if she has his number, which she doesn’t. So I cal l maybe about 5 other people, and none of them do, and its almost 3:30. It takes a good 45 minutes to get to my school from where I live, so if I cant reach him now, I will get there too late for it to make a difference. Just as I’m about to give up, my sister arrives from work. I freak out and tell her my problem, and she agrees to take me So we’re good.

The event was for perspective parents, looking to send their kids to the school. Moya (Our administrator) had asked 4 students to come to the school to answer questions and tell the parents a how we students feel about the school. I was all excited, the three people that had arrived were friends of mine, so we were all hyped up. I told them about a party I’m having on August 22 for the Silent Hill movie coming out on DVD, and one person said they might come. Well, the parents were supposed to arrive at 6:00, but none of them did. Someone’s dad did, and Moya showed him around the school, but after 6:30 everyone left but me and the teachers. Lucky for me, I was able to talk to the persons dad. I told him my thought on the school, my plans for a tea shop that are in the making, my art, my grades, and why I love the school so much that I am willing to sit and be bored for two hours every day getting too and from school. On my way out, two women arrived to look at the school. (I don’t know if they were teachers looking at it or parents.) I told them my thoughts on the school again, and how much I loved it and so on and so forth. When my dad arrived, he took me to Katz. By this point, my day was compleatly turned around. I was happy and talking none-stop about this V for Vendetta DVD box set that came with art and a small miniature V mask and how it was a limited addition and how I wanted it so bad, and he agreed to take me to Best Buy and get it. I was glowing.

I then played Eisley in the car and was excited to know my dad likes them.

No one where I live wanted a Best Buy right next to our local HEB. A huge shopping center was placed in my small town of Lake Travis, and a large group of people decided to boycott it, so nothing there is ever out of sale. (As a matter of fact, my friends brother works there.) I got my V DVD, called up Mitsu and invited her over.
By the time I got home, I was having a great day. (As you imagine.) Poor Mitsu couldn’t come over because she was getting home late, and had been partying all day. (If your reading this Mitsu, I understand! Don’t worry about it. I’m glad you got a good nights rest. x3 )I managed to yoink my sisters camera, and take some random piccies of me and my pets. (As well as my Sasuke boxers, which I bought with my friend Emo_Rainbows. I LOVE YOU EMO!! ) I watched V for Vendetta, drank some tea, and poked about my webmanga’s I am currently in the process of reading. (Yu+Me, Boobs Ahoy, Ragnarok Wisdom, and Drowtales. :B ) Talked with Chopstix and Sakura on our Naruto Yaoi Polls guild, and now am posting this.

Its amazing how a day can be turned around, just by being a little optimistic.
