uuuuuuuuggggg!!! I feel soooooooo sick right now. . .
I was participating in a blood drive at my school and everything was fine. . .
I got there, got my finger pricked, and sat in the really comfy leather recliner. . .
I'm not afraid of needles, so I didnt mind it going in. I'm not afraid of blood either, so I didnt mind the warm, blood filled tubes running down my arm. I was laughing for a while. . .It felt SOOOOOOO weird!!! It pretty much just felt like a baby snake that had just been taken off a heat rock. . .
Okay, so my bag was almost full when suddeny. . .I became incredibly dizzy!!! The blood loss was making me tunr white!!! " You're lips were completely white!" The nurse said to me. Two nurses had to come and pour a bunch of freezing water all over my face and my mascara was running bad!!! They continued to pour water on me and kept one soaked towel on my neck. I closed my eyes for a minute and the nurses yelled at me, "Don't close your eyes!!! Keep them open!" I really wanted to go to sleep, but I suppose that if you close your eyes it's easier for you to pass out. My friend Heather was donating blood across the bus. She started talking to me and trying to make me feel better. She came to the bus after I had and left about twenty minutes before I did. . .They kept me in there FOREVER!!! On the bright side the nurses gave me a bunch of free soda and some cookies! YUM!!! mrgreen One of the lady nurses wiped off the black residue that the mascara had left behind and then told me to sit up. After they were sure I could stand without any problems, they let me leave. . .
I came home and tried to take a nap, but I failed miserably. . .I still feel a little woosy, but I think I'm gonna be fine! mrgreen
