Summer's Over
The week I got back was worlds (big skating competition). It was... interesting.
I didn't do so hot, (coming in 4th three times, falling on my double salchow, but then coming in 1st once and 2nd once) but my team overall did very well. Which was awesome.

The next week was my birthday party, then preparation for my trip to Colorado. The trip was this: spending 12 days at a ranch, 10 of which were hiking in the middle of nowhere with 11 other girls (and 2 advisors) for 55 miles. Everyone got along amazingly well. Obviously people liked some people more than others, but there was no major strife. When I got back home, I ran 10 miles no problem, and could have gone on for much longer. It was amazing! I was so fit! None of my old clothes fit me anymore, I have to keep running or else I won't fit into my new clothes. I lost like, 8 pounds.

The week I returned, cross country started (and freshman orientation training, yuck!). I actually did very well in cross country, but practice is like, every day! Fortunately, the coach is letting me miss Friday practices so I can go to skating. Yes!

Orientation for the freshmen was so annoying. They were so... not appreciating all the work we put into it at all. but that's how it is, until they volunteer for it, and see how annoyingly difficult it is. But I don't even wanna write about it, because it just gets me angry.

Then today we started real school, and I already got homework assignments over the holiday vacation from two of my teachers: US history and Physics. It's so annoying. (how many times do you think I'm going to type the word annoying in this entry?) But it shouldn't be that bad, and I'm actually feeling great right now. I'm feeling healthy both mentally and physically, so I shouldn't be complaining. And I'm taking a videography class D period and a couple of friends that I never see are in it, which makes me SO happy.

I'm so glad that things are going well for you still. Colorado WAS amazing, I agree, but unlike you I haven't had time to stay in shape since then. Old habits die hard, and the Magnet student never rests. Literally. So soda is currently the only thing keeping me alive, which isn't helping my body at all. But hopefully things will change after December. (Thesis will be done.)

HURRAY FOR SKATING! I wish I was nearly as talented as you. As it is, the most I can do is speed skate, no figures for me... I'd kill myself. Haha Keep up the fun and hard work, hun! I miss you sooooooo much!
