The Simpsons
...Seemed rather tired. I laughed, but it seemed a lot like how the last few seasons have started out, kind of full of gimmicks and "off". It'll probably quiet down into its normal, random, naturally occurring humor as the season wears on. I don't think I'll ever get tired of them.

How is it that this show gets a third season while Futurama is lying cold in the gutter? WTF?


Family Guy
Not very funny. Maybe I'm just losing my patience, but it seems like half of the jokes in Family Guy now are based on the idea that "more is funny," like the thirty seconds of Stewie going "Mom, mom, mom, mom" and the number of times Peter said he was raped while people kept telling him he was being ridiculous. Sometimes just because you repeat the gag over and over and over again, the sheer repetition doesn't work to make it funnier. Fox, Gimme my futurama back! Cartoons don't have to be vulgar to be funny, you know (and just because something is vulgar, that doesn't mean it's necessarily funny). Family Guy is tired.


War at Home
Same as last season, at least. Funny to see how the kids have grown up a little since last year. Heh.
