you know, life can be hard. no one really thinks about everyone else unless they're in love. except when there's chaos. then people begin to care. why is that? because most of the time so many people are so worried about their own lives to care about other people's suffering. why is that? because we're so worried about what will happen the next day it isn't funny. we get so caught up in work and our own problems that we don't see what happens around us. for instance, take 9/11. the people in those towers were minding their own buisness, not caring about the people below them and around them and then bam, they're struck. don't take me wrong. i'm not trying to be insensitive to the families that lost people but until that happened, the world didn't take terrorism seriously! people in other countries had been hit by terrorists but they didn't care. now that the states have been hit, they all suddenly care. the whole world now knows! which brings me to my next point. third world countries. come on people! they need our help too you know! just because they haven't been attacked doesn't mean they don't matter! on the contrary, they matter more! they've had bigger problems like aids and melaria for ages and we just send them some money and hope for the best! the children are dying which brings me to my next point. bare with me here. just because we're under the age of 20 doesn't mean that us in the younger generation don't know anything! just because we talk diffrently and we act diffrently doesn't mean we don't know anything! anyway, i think i'll end this rant before i get in too far.
More of Beth-Anne's rants will come your way soon!
