First off, I have to say that as much of an American I am, I can't help but feel that the U.S. is making too big of a deal out of 9/11. Now before you go off saying that I'm just not "patriotic", my father served in the military for over 20 years before retiring, meaning that I've been a military brat for most of my life. When 9/11 occured, I was attending a military school. I had friends in both areas who were affected by it (one person's parent worked in the Pentagon, others with family and friends). Needless to say I'm not completely heartless about the event.
Now, as tragic as an event as it was, you don't need to keep bringing the matter up in the way that they do. I mean, what person wants to see their loved one jump out of a building 50 times on the news? Show some respect!! Yes, I know you have nothing better to show, but good gosh! And we thought the "wardrobe malfunction" was bad enough! (Bad joke/pun.)
Now, a thing that I shall forever hate: capitalization.
Movies, shirts, coffee mugs, books, stickers...is there ANYTHING the haven't made this tragedy into? If you're going to do something like that, then make it FREE. Because you know where most of that money goes? To the greedy arses who make the products, that's who.
As for the movies...I refuse to see ANY of them. Books? Cross them off my "to read" list. Comics? Let us hope people will not resort to such childish acts to inform illiterate children (and adults) of this tragedy.
Sad thing is? Before Bush even finished up looking for the terrorists who did this, he decided to attack Iraq. So does he really care? I mean, Iraq who supposedly had "weapons of mass destruction" versus someone who already attacked our country... I think the latter wins that debate in my mind.
But that's another story.

Again, I just needed to make my point. I know 9/11 was a tragedy and as much as I wish to say "forget about it and move on," it's just one of those things you are forced to remember. Though the way it's going about it just...aweful.
