Homecoming! The story of my night. |

Okay so the homecoming was last night, 9/16/06. It was absolutly amazing! I loved every minute of it. heart I went with my best friend Chris. whee The night started out with me going over to my friend Kathy's house.
She straightened my hair for me and cut it shoulder length. I felt so much better after all the split ends were off. ^^ After we did that she gave me a french manacure (I think that's how you spell it), my nails looked awesome! Thank you, Kathy. Next we both got dressed in our dresses.
Mine was all black with 3 white wave looking lines going across under the bust. I wore heels! I actually wore heels! o_o They were open toed, black, and showed most of the foot. They added at least an inch onto my height and I'm only 5'1" so that was a height changer for me. xD
I had absolutly no make-up on. For jewelry I wore my star of David necklace and this bracelet set I bought from Hot Topic. Kathy said I looked really sexy. xD I smiled from ear to ear and laughed. I complimented her on the way she looked and she was so stunning (She's a model and very nice indeed).
After a half hour, Kathy called her boyfriend, Cory (He's asian and not so bad in the looks department. 3nodding ) to come and pick us up. About 20 minutes later he arrived at her house in his corvette *whistles*. It was kinda cramped in the "back seat", but I came out looking okay. We arrived at the school in 10 minutes, Kathy lives very close, then we drove to the front of the gym and got out. The three of us quickly got out of Cory's car and run over to the big crowd of people waiting to get in.
As soon as we squeezed into the crowd I found my friend Matt and he was looking very snazzy 3nodding . When he saw me he was like, "Simone! You look so beautiful! O__<" and I put on a big smile and thanked him. Even before I got into the school I had already gotten so many comments and I was really surprised because I never thought I looked THAT GOOD! As we're digging through the crowd I find so many of my other friends, Yarely, Paola, Victoria, Emo buddy, and Stephanie. After we all talked for a bit we made it through the line and into the homecoming, got our tickets ripped, and went on our merry way inside.
I stayed with my friends Victoria and Yarely as we went inside the gym. The gym was so packed and I mean packed. It was really hot in there like an oven *sweats*. There were people booty dancing all over the place and at first it kinda scared me...but then I got used to it. ^^; We danced some then a song came on and the DJ was like "I need everybody to make trains for me!" then everybody yelled "WOOOOO!" and we formed many many trains around the gym.
Now it started to get really hot in there so we got out and then ran into some friends, Lior and his girlfriend Ruby, Kathy, Cory, and Corbett. I got compliments from them, too gonk 4laugh . Lior was like, "Simone, you look awesome and so beautiful tonight! If no guy asks you out then they're GAY!" that was something I really wasn't expecting, but I was really flattered blaugh . I heard this really cool song that I knew so I tugged on Yarely and told her to come with me to the courtyard since we were heading over there anyways. When we got over there we met up with some more friends, Fermine, Carlos, Kevin, Brett, Chris (finally I found him ^^), and Justin.
We all started dancing to the remainder of the song then the Time Warp came on! whee heart That was soooo much fun!! Once again after the Time Warp ended I got more compliments! >> I've never gotten so many before especially, it was so inhuman. eek eek eek There were certain songs that came on that my group made dancing circles to.
Everybody at least jumped in once to dance and some guys were pretty good dancers. I still can't get over when Chris went down so low. He did kind of like a bridge, but this was really low, almost touching the ground! o_o Kathy and Cory got tired so they went to go sit down at the tables, actually after that I didn't see them for the rest of the dance ^^; they wanted alone time anyway.
After some fast, upbeat dancing, we had a chance to slow dance with someone. The song that came on was "Heaven" by DJ Sammy (original slow verison) I love that song. Chris and I started dancing with eachother. I was really happy cuz I've never slow danced with anybody before him so I was hoping I would do good. ^^ As the song came on I was mouthing the words and he joined me *sigh* it was so much fun. I've never seen that side of him before until then.
It was amazing! He was so sweet and I never thought I could find somebody like that. We both were enjoying the night so far. I'll definitly never forget the moment or that song and you know what that's the most perfect song to dance to. ^^ Thank you, Chris for my first slow dance. <3 *makes heart with her hands* I've never been so happy before not even at last years homecoming.
After that break we started dancing more to some regge (I think that's how you spell it >> wink and that was awesome! Lmao xD Yarely was teaching me and the guys how to move our butts to the music. I kinda got it by the end of the night. xP As the songs in the courtyard went on we decided to go into the gym again. The gym was still crazy as always.
We danced in what little space we had in the back, but there was still enough room to move around. 3nodding All of a sudden Yarely had to get out of the gym and I was like, "Wait Yarely! Where you goin???" so I grabbed Chris, Carlos, and Fermine and followed her and Victoria. Our group was all over the place that night. I think that's one of the reasons behind my feet hurting. domokun Also I think it could've been because I danced the first half with my heels on and that was a BIG no no. Lol xD
So the group got back outside in the courtyard and I really think we had a better time out there. This time I took my heels off cuz I learned from the first time especially if I was gonna be jumping again...yea. As we danced some songs this time we were trying to get emo buddy to dance. He swayed back and forth most of the time, but that's all he did. =( Cuz emo buddy has to be soooo emo like that. emo
Guess what happened next?! A slow song came on again and I forgot the name of it, but I knew the words to it. =3 Once again Chris and I paired up. At times I accidentally stepped on his foot although I don't know if it was him or me doin' the steppin'. ^^; We danced differently from the first time and I kinda got lost so I think I was the one doin' the steppin', sorry, Chris! sweatdrop
I think after that Chris saw his other date so he went to talk and dance with her. I guess I forgot about her, oh well. *sigh* Oh god, was I getting jealous??? You've gotta be kidding me! I guess I can't hide it that I was jealous. It's my fault that I've liked him since last year. I wonder if Kyle told him (another one of my friends)? I wonder how he reacted to hearing that from Kyle if he really did tell him? If he does know I hope I didn't push him away by him knowing. Does he really like Meagan(another friend)? I wonder what he thinks of me? Will I ever know? Damn it...so many questions...
Okay, anyways *shakes head many times* back to the homecoming story. Yarely, Victoria and I were hoping to get something to drink from the inside venders so we separted from everybody. We got on the line and I saw that a coke was 50 cents and I only had $20 on me. xD I'm crazy to be carrying around $20 at a homecoming! I was saved by emo buddy when he gave me 50 cents from his pocket, I hugged him like crazy cuz I was so grateful. xD Thank you, Emo buddy!
We got back to the courtyard, set the cokes down, and started dancing again. Chris joined us again, but sadly our crowd was getting kind of low on people. There were still about 6 of us and that wasn't so bad. Kevin went some where so we lost huim and Carlos was around the courtyard some where. Kyle was jumping everywhere you can think of like some monkey or a kid at Chuck E. Cheeses xD they have good pizza. 3nodding
As the homecoming was coming to an end they played about 4 songs that everybody knew. They played 1985 by Bowling for soup, the Cha Cha Slide, the Chicken Dance xD, and the last song was Dirty little Secrets by All-American Rejects. For the last song Fermine, Chris, and I were dancing to it. We jumped and sang to it with all the energy we had left in us. When the song ended, everybody in the courtyard shouted to thnk the DJ for all his songs that he played us.
Around the school as we walked out I saw girls taking off their heels and guys taking off their ties and unbuttoning their shirts. It was definitly a wild party that night. On the way out of the gym everybody wanted to take pictures to remember the night by. It sucks though that I didn't have a camera that's why I NEED a camera phone like Yarely and Chris. crying Chris got my picture at the end of the night when my hair went all back to curly. xP As long as he liked it that's all that mattered. 3nodding whee
I asked Chris, Fermine, and his brother to walk me to the other side of the school by the bus ramp and they said yes. Thank god cuz I really hate walkin' alone across there with all those people all over the place. Finally we got to the bus ramp where my dad was. I hugged Chris and Fermine and thanked them for dancing with me and for the wonderful night then joined dad in his car and drove off. That was one of the best nights of my life.
I spent it with all of my friends with not a care in the world. So many compliments came my way that I never was expecting. I slow danced twice with Chris, that really made my night. <3 I learned how to use my puerto-rican blood even though I'm a jew. xD That's the best night ever when you spend it with friends you hold near and dear to you.
Thank you to all my friends for making my night. Thank you, Chris for spending time and dancing with me and for making me laugh. ^^ I hope I have great homecomings like this in the future. Thank you to all who read my most fabulous homecoming night! whee heart
