Yes folks I couldn't let you valued readers down. This post is about a**. I figured I wouldn't bother to see Carla again but due to popular demand I decided to pop in and say hi on my way to check on my manga. Naturally I was a bit nervous as I didn't have a bike with me so clearly I came just to see Carla. This would either work against me or with me.
When I entered the shop she didn't seem to roll her eyes or anything like that. Quite the contoury happened. I bought a energade and chatted to her a bit. It wasn't one hundred percent, and my technique seemed a bit sketchy. So before I left a bad impression I cut my visit short and left her company to continue with my mission.
So down to the Outer Limits I went. This hard to find comic book store is becoming easier and easier to find. Unfortunately my manga hadn't arrived. Apparently their shipping company is only resuming shipping this week. I was worried that it would come before I could pay for it. But the nice comic book man assured me that he would keep it until I could pay for it because I ordered it such a long time ago. Well that was only fair. So I left the shop and entered the lift. Its amazing how awkward lifts can be when some one els is in one. At any rate a bright idea popped into my head...it was genius in fact!
Carla had mentioned that she was tired, and that they happened to be out of coffee. This misfortune seemed to be something I could capitalize on and remedy. So I went in search for a coffee shop. I managed to find one in long street called the Computerria or some nonsense. I questioned the man about two cups of coffee to go. <i>"Twelve bucks"</i> he said. <i>"Damn"</i> I thought, as I only had R10 on me. Then I pulled out my money and the nice man exclaimed that he would take my R10. Things seemed to be going my way. So I paid for the coffee and I was unsure how it would be received. I had now idea how many sugars she would want in her coffee. Not wanting to risk it, I instead told them to just add milk and if I could get a whole lot of little packets of sugar(pure genius).
So with coffee in hand I started on my way back to Bomans Cycle shop. Carla seemed happy to seem me. and when I presented her with the coffee she seemed to like that very much, mentioning that it was 'sweet'. I let her choose which cup, as they where both the same and Im not one to drug people. She seemed the trusting type and said that she didn't mind which one. Well after the coffee was finished we chatted some more. And just as people where starting to wake up and call in(her job is to answer the phones). As it was getting busier I thought I better ask her for her number.
She didn't seem to mind at all. Yatta, I now have her number. No longer will I HAVE to pop in with a 'bike' related problem. So how long do you think I should wait until I call? End n_n.
