Okay, this Rant Is dear to me. Even though I'm a sports fanatic and play as often as I feel like it, I'm an avid gamer as well. And this is about one of the game geners that got me started. Sonic The Hedgehog.

I've followed our spikey supersonic blue wonder though his many years of jumping from platform to platform fighting the evil genious that is Dr. Robotnick. I Followed him through Sonic The Hedgehog 2 and tails, to Sonic Heros today. I feel they have ruined him, and his story. The Main villan seems to have droppe dhis incredibly evil name for a more cartoony one to make little kids giggle... Dr. Eggman is what hes called now. When did that happen? hmmmm Somewhere along the lines of Sonic Adventure 2. Where they addded a useless character... Shadow. They even gave him his own game. Which sucked. The sonic games had always been about speed. Once you give them a gun, well. It slows down a bunch now that you have to point and shoot. Also they are adding characters left and right. Here are the worse ones they have come up with.

Whatever those three birds were in Sonic Riders.

They Need to stop trying to "apeal" to new little peopel who want more "action." There had always been a lot of action, Pluss the speed effect made it seem like there was a lot more then there really was. Now Theres only one sonic game (before Game Cube sadly crying ) I havn't bought and its sonic Riders. (shadow is not a sonic game, it needs to die) And I will probably get this new one becuse It frankly looks pretty sweet, despite that they have shadow and some other hedgehog. I just think they have to get back o thier roots.

Sorry about the spacific rant half of you have no idea about.

It seems that by popular demand that Amy Be included on characters that have ruined sonic. I Agree to an extent. Shes over plays the role and has a really anoying voice actor. otherwise shes kind of the comic relief to the "evil" (since its no longer evil) action of the game and story.
