Dear Diary, I had such a wonderful day. First thing this morning, I woke up, got ready for work and took a walk in my lovely new garden. I only got moved into my house 2 days ago (which is why I haven't been writing recently) and I've been really busy. So I haven't had much time to enjoy myself. After my walk, I went back inside, had some hot tea and toast with carrot jam for breakfast, then went on to work.
All the little children were so happy to see me. They are all very sick, but they always seem to brighten a bit when I bring them flowers and pay special attention to each of them. The head nurse says I have a very good way with the smallest of patients. I am just so happy I can help them.
After I got off work, I decided to walk home. Fortunately I had my etemology kit with me because I discovered several species of grasshoppers and even a new fly today. I must say though, the amount of trash that naughty people drop along the paths is just apalling. I must remember to bring along my canvas recycling bag tomorrow so I can do some cleaning up. I'm also planning to take my flower basket and gather flowers on my way to the hospital. The children all just love to get fresh flowers.
