I Hold in My Hands a Tear

I hold in my hand a tear
a tear of missing you
When you said those two simple words
my heart felt like it was shattered over you
I spend my lonely nights
crying and thinking about you
I fall to my knees
hold my hands to the sky
screaming your name
I start to cry
Why did you destroy me?
Why did you leave?
This is something I cannot believe.

I hold in my hand a tear
a tear from missing you
One day
I hope you will realize
that we were meant to be,
me with you
and you with me.
Everyday the fake smile on my face lies to my friends
not showing how much I'm torn
and hurting within
It hurts me to see you so happy
and know that I'm not
Tears run down my face
because I know
All of the good times
you have forgot

I want to be in your arms again
sheltered from all the pain
Sometimes I think
I'm the one to blame.
I blame my self for why you left
and why you don't care
Whenever you pass me in the hall way,
all I can do is stare.
I think about how I cry
and suffer over you.
I wish I could turn back time
and start out everything new
