~Chapter One~
“Yin-Yun! Yin-Yun! Stop!” cried Jing-Ling, Mei-Ling, and Shun-Ling. “How many times have I told you not to interrupt Brother Xun-Zhou, and Brother Tai-Wei’s training session with Master Jun-June!” yelled Jing-Ling. “Sorry,” mumbled Yin-Yun quietly. “Proper lady-like manners are important!” Mei-Ling scolded. “Besides! If you don’t do well on your final princess exam for the month, you don’t get to go to visit Earth!” Shun-Ling told her, frowning. “What?! But that’s not FAIR!! You guys got to go last month! I wanna go too!!” Yin-Yun cried. “Lady-like manners and speech, Yin-Yun! Or you’ll NEVER pass the test!” Mei-Ling scolded her again. Yin-Yun lowered her voice. “Now come along. Mother Chun-Huan wants a word with us.” Jing-Ling said quietly. “Now let’s go! Ling-Ling-Jing!!” Jing-Ling cried and with a sunburst in the shape of a bell, she floated away, hovering in mid-air, waiting for the others. “Ling-Ling-Mei!!” “Ling-Ling-Shun!!” Mei-Ling and Shun-Ling cried, and then a sunburst in a shape of a bell carried Mei-Ling up while a moonburst in the shape of a bell carried Shun-Ling up into the sky.
“DO hurry up, Yin-Yun!” Jing-Ling, Mei-Ling, and Shun-Ling cried to Yin-Yun. “Okay, okay!” she yelled. Then, she shouted, “Yun-Yun-Yin!!” and a moonburst in the shape of a cloud carried her up. “Let’s go!” Yin-Yun yelled, and the four princesses flew off with speed to meet their Mother, Chun-Huan, the Lady of the Moon.
