When people dream of love so true,
they believe in the existence of the eternally true.
They're way over their heads;
There's no such thing.

When people dream of feeling it too,
They believe in finding the fewest of few.
They're entering a world of "leds" and "misleds";
They'll surely end up crying.

When people dream of that special you,
They believe in someone who'd say "I do".
They need to go back to thier beds;
the wedding song's not playing.

Maybe it's just me;
I'm hurt, I'm lost, I'm through.
So curse it all.
Right now there's no such thing.
