Welcome to my shadows,
the darkness in which I hide.
So that no one will see,
the pain that which I hide...

I saw her again today,
she smiled and said hello.
I tried to smile back,
but didn't have the courage...

She saw than the pain that she instigated,
this pain that I bear.
But she turned and walked away,
because, in truth, she was never really there...

I would've given my entire life away to her,
in truth, I did.
But she turned and walked away,
like the coward she is, she hid...

Now I must bear the pain that she started,
cursed to hold this weight.
But soon I shall see your face again,
and for that, I will forever wait...

People say that I am naive,
that I am dumb.
But when will they see that I am a slave?
To love, THAT, in which I am dumb....

For what is love but a feeling?
One, that we cannot ignore.
For when we have it we feel as high as a kite,
without it we crash as cars do when they are drunk...

You saw me at my lowest point,
you saw me down to my very core.
There you found someone to love,
but I was blind to the fact that you are who you are...

I see now,
that deep inside you.
There is a peice of me,
perhaps that is why I was drawn to you...

We cling to each other for support,
against a world of eternal pain.
Perhaps one day we can end it all,
and start our eternal plan...
