Yay! More controversial things to read about. How fun!
God
God.

Whew! That's a big topic. God is by far the most multi-faceted word ever. It can mean just about anything, depending on one's weltanschauung.

But what I intend on doing today is disprove one of the most popular views of God: the Christian view. For the uninformed, Christianity beleives that God is omnipotent and omniscient. This means that he knows everything that is happening, and he can do anything. They also say that he is all for goodness, and never does anything bad.

Seems innocent enough. But it isn't. If you ask a Christian why there are wars, and couldn't God just stop them because he doesn't want death, they will reply that God gave us freewill. That works.

But what about the babies that are dying of hunger in Ethiopia? They can't do anything about it, no matter how much they want to. And their parents can't help them, because their parents are at the verge of death as well.

So does God just have a personal enmity againgst Ethiopians? Or is it against Africans in general? Because I believe that there were also many, many, Africans who died due to slavery and harsh conditions, no matter what they did.

What say you to that?

Please respond. I made this not to enrage people, though that will no doubt be achieved, but to learn. Tell me what you think...
