Living her life looking in from the outside,
Remembering the tears that once spilled from her eyes,
Thinking of the pain that she will always feel,
Thinking of the wounds that will never heal,

With scars in her heart and tears in her eyes,
She sits and remembers only wondering why,
Why was it over and why was he gone,
What had she done to make it go so wrong,

Reminiscing the moments that they had both shared,
Remembering the times when he actually cared,
Remembering his touch, his oh so soft lips,
Remembering it all as her heart slowly rips,

His smile so bright and his eyes oh so deep,
A part of her heart...gone forever he'll keep,
When he left he took a part of her along,
Turning her life into one sad love song,

She curls up all alone in the dark crying,
Her heart slowly breaking, her soul slowly dying,
As the scars on her arm slowly fade away,
The scars on her heart, forever will stay,

She remembers the times they talked through the night,
He made her feel safe, his love felt so right,
Who knew such a good thing could turn out so bad,
Remembering his laugh and the love they both had,

She breaks down and cries wishing for things to be the same,
She's so fed up with this life's sick twisted game,
She wants him so bad that it kills her inside,
Get over him? She can't, God knows that she's tried,

It's hard to love someone then turn around and forget,
The memories that they had, something no one would get,
How did he forget their love, how did he move on,
How is it that everything they had was gone,

She feels her heart breaking each and everyday,
She's at a loss of words she doesn't know what to say,
She loves him so much and its sad that he'll never know,
That she never got over him, she'll never let it show,

For a love like this will never die,
For a love like this everyday she'll cry,
Reminiscing the moments that they had, had together,
And remembering that those moments were gone forever...
