You tell me you love me
You spit in my face
You tell me you care
You claim only to hate
You preach whats right
Then do bad
You help the poor
It makes me sad
You cry at night
And hope to bleed
You tell me to pray
It wastes the day away
You tell me to be fertile
To express myself
You tell me to ignore you
To only go to hell
You kiss my cheek, and tuck me in
You slap my face, and tell me to give
You say theres nothing
That can't hurt me
Then you say "I'm your worst enemy"
You claim to be a saint
But you are just a sinner
I'll throw my arms around your neck
Then squeeze out all your innerds
You tell me you will be back soon
You are gone all afternoon
You scold me for being mean
You hurt me right on the scene
You get applauded
But all I say is boo
You think you're somthing special don't you?
You sometimes cry when I'm not around
You pray to god, and think you're found
You rape me but I don't make a sound
You say you'll drop me off at the curb and leave
But I know you won't if I make a fuss and scream
You tell me to read the holy book
But all I do is take a look
I write down poems of life and death
But all you do is rip them up
You think you own me
You kind of do
But you have to understand that I have feelings too
I sometimes hide away
I do sometimes pray
You ask me if I'm bothered
All I say is "No, father"
I die my hair and paint my room
You say "Jesus wouldn't like that"
But who are you to tell me what to do?
And why does that make me guilty?
You tell me to eat
I don't care
You shove it down my throat
I didn't think you'd dare
You say I'm fine
The hospital says otherwise
It's all those years of pain and rape
You attempt stabbing me with a stake
Which brings us back to our mystery
Of love, and life, and pain, and hate
You told me god was great
But it was all just a waste.
