Dear Former Parents,

I regret to inform you that Bridget wil not be returning to Chariton. I'm sure it's hard for you to believe that she is truly happy here. It saddens me though that she is upset for the way that you have treated her, making her choose between "family" and her own happiness. The two of you are so self absorbed
to understand what it means to be a true parent and not only care about your needs
compared to what you child needs for their own happiness.

Out of 9 children, 5 kids have ran away. One is too little to leave - one has no choice but to live there bcause the only other choice he has is to live alone and he had to buy his way back into your suposed "family".

I hope one day you realize what you did to us for "our own good" only hurt us in some way or another. Some are on drugs or alchohol, some stayed in abusive homes, others can't have relationships, some having social problems or like Sue all of the above. So thanks for making us feel guilty for your own pleasure to make sure you fit all of your needs.

We are truly sorry for living up to your expectations about crapping all over you, but like you told me, don't get attached to your kids because they will just s**t all over you. However, I will always remember how you loved us - like how Hitler loved the Jews and how mom, like Sweden and several other countries, sat there quietly in the shadows during the genocide that will forver scar our lives.

So please forgive us for not paying you back for the life you gave us, the love and support you never gave us and never giving us a chance to make something of ourselves, making our own choices in life and deciding what's best for us.

I hope one day that you realize that maybe, just maybe, it's you and not the nine of us.

After all that's been said and done-I wish you would reconsider your decision to shut us outand make us all dead in your own lives (yet again). Not only for myself but for Robert and the girls-(including Bridget)

ps. We love and miss you Robert and if this is our last corespondance- have a nice life.
