Edward woke up on a brisk German morning. He rubbed his eyes, and looked up. He and Al had slept the night in a forest. After being thrown out of the apartment Ed decided to see if Fritz Lang would take them in. After Hitler was relased from prison the Nazi's started gaining power again. They hadn't taken over Germany yet, but it was still dangerous for Jews. Fritz might have left for America already. They hadn't made it all the way to Fritz's house yet when they decided to sleep for the night. "Wake up Al. It's morning." Al looked at Ed. "Morning brother." Ed stood up and dusted himself off.
