The kid opened his mouth as if to speak...but then didn't say anything. This left Yoozepode wondering, who could this kid be? Yoozepode returned home for lunch with his father.
When Yoozepode stepped through his doorway and into his house, he sensed something was wrong. No candles were lit for light, and Yoozepode swore he saw a shadow flicker off of a wall. Yoozepode's house had no windows, so it was often very dark inside.
Yoozepode took some steps further into his house. And in one moment it all happened. Yoozepode was tripped by some force, and fell into a deep pit. Rough arms took a hold of him, and then someone shouted into his face:
"I am Lord Doxis! You are now my slave!"
The rough hands threw him away like a toy, left there to wait...until they came back to play with him.
