“What are you doing in my mind!” shouted Rory, Yuri got up.
“How should I know…I just wanted to be released, so I could fight Zaire. I sure as hell didn‘t know that this was going to happen.”
“Nice use of words. Well for now you can stay in here… but don‘t bug me until I get home…ok?”
“Ok, just let me play Halo in peace. Maybe you could stay awhile.”
“Well I do have a lot of time……I could stay here awhile.”
“Sure, come here and let‘s talk.”
Rory went and sat in the chair next to the T.V. Rory looked around… the room was white and had very few things that Rory knew.
“What is all this stuff,” Rory said aloud
“Oh, what, this stuff. It‘s just stuff from my mind, just like the other room was of stuff you like.”
“I just noticed something.”
“Yes.”
“Well……in both rooms, a lot of the stuff……if not three quarters, are the same.”
“Yeah! I noticed that too.”
“Why is that.”
“Isn’t it obvious?” said Yuri quietly, “we’re related……I‘m your ancestor!” Not one of them spoke for a minute…but Rory spoke up first.
“That‘s actually pretty cool.” said Rory cheerfully. “But how did you get inside my mind.”
“That I‘m not sure of……my only guess is that my actual body…… would be old and brittle…so I guess I have to inhabit a mind……”
“So you’re stuck in here for now.”
“Yes I guess so.”
“There might be some benefits……maybe, I don‘t know for sure.” Then after that they talked for about an hour, about stuff even I don’t remember…about both of their lives…… “so that’s when Zaire and me were sealed in stone.”
“So that’s how it all happened………” pondered Rory aloud. “That……is just amazing……well I better get going.”
“Ok…and by the way I can contact you anytime…you will just hear my voice, just like before……ok.” Rory walked out of the room, and went through a third door. The door which was the way he came in. There was a bright light as he walked through the door……when the light disappeared Rory was sitting down. He stretched his frostbitten body, got up and rubbed his hands together to warm his body. He checked his watch… it said 5:00 am “Wow!” exclaimed Rory “I better get to bed.”
As Rory returned to his bed he realised that he felt way different……in some way that he did not know yet.



When Rory awoke the next morning Scott Roach came over and told Rory that Lt. Pyildro wanted to see him in his quarters. As Rory left, he snickered to himself when he heard Scott mutter to himself,
“special little brat.” As Rory walked out in to the hallway he said to himself. “I don‘t even know where his quarters are.”
“Probably in his pocket.” he heard Yuri say to Rory mockingly. “Hey this a great opportunity.”
“What do you mean?” Rory questioned.
“Just stay still and don‘t resist.” Yuri stated. Rory felt a little stinging in his head, he felt as if something was crawling in his mind. “I said don‘t resist!” Rory stopped. After a moment he felt his arm move… but he didn’t make the arm move then he was looking around.
“It works!” Rory was surprised. He didn’t say that… it was Yuri’s voice coming out of Rory’s mouth! Then Rory could move his hands and body again.
“What was that?” Rory asked Yuri.
“Well plain and simple… I took over your body.”
“H-How did you do that.”
“My only guess is that now that our minds are merged I share some control, and sometimes full control.” Rory shrugged to himself as he continued down the hallway. Rory ran into a guard and asked where Lt. Pyildro’s quarters were.
After another five minutes, Rory was in front of an oak door… Rory tried to take a step forward… but something held him back. “What‘s wrong ,“ Rory thought to Yuri.
“It‘s just…”
“Well?… spit it out!”
“It‘s been so long…”
“Hey tell ya what! I will let you take control of the body for now.”
“Really?” Yuri spoke disbelievingly.
“Yes, go ahead. Be my guest.”
After a few moments Rory was just watching. Yuri stepped up to the door…and slowly, pushed the door open. The chamber on the inside had weapons, such as swords, war axes, and portraits of past prime ministers of Canada.
Yuri looked up to the desk where Lt. Pyildro was sitting.
“Nice to see you up and about Rory” said Lt. Pyildro.
“Nice to see you too. Any news on Zaire.”
“No…” sighed Lt. Pyildro, “nothing at all, oh by the way how‘s Yuri.”
“I’m fin-……oops,” Yuri put his hand over his mouth but it was too late
“Heh, heh, heh, nice to see you again Yuri. Now have a seat, and tell me about what has happened to you.” So Yuri told Lt. Pyildro about the “Soul Merging,” as Yuri called it, and about how he could control Rory’s body.
“This…” Lt. Pyildro said aloud after the story, “this is really helpful… now we know what happened to Zaire…….ha ha! The prophecy came true after all.”
“What Prophecy?”

“It happened about a week after you and Zaire were sealed up. The three elemental priests…you know the one’s that predicted the fall of the Vancouver dam in B.C.”
“Ohhh…”sighed Yuri. “Those three crackpots. Oh well, tell me what they predicted.” So Lt. Pyildro told both Yuri and Rory the oracle that the Eternal Priests made. “a boy destined for greatness……hmmm. “Hear that Rory?”
“What?” spoke Rory to Yuri.
“You’re destined for greatness.”
“Oh that, what does that mean?”
“Well it‘s simple, after we separate you will still have some part in this! Oh Lieutenant…. about that…you got any ideas on how to separate us?”
“Of course I do,” Lt. Pyildro smirked. “That’s the true reason I stayed in this android body.”
“So what do you mean by that?” spoke Yuri.
“Well only three people knew of this prediction, and that was Jake, Manreth, and me.”
“Wait who is Manreth!?”
“That‘s right you don’t know who he is……..he is your true Father.”
“W-What! My true F-Father………I never met him……..he was never there….I knew I was adopted because my foster parents were both humans…..but…still……”
“Any ways we know of an object from the old days. That is called the Tiger stone. It was used on monks to separate their light from dark. If it‘s powers were amplified then it could be used to separate you two.”
“How can we find it?”
“Well……that’s the bad news…when Zaire was in control he found this object….and…..”
“What!!!”
“He destroyed it into two parts and scattered them across the universe. But the good news is that we just finished a tracker that hones on the shards specific metal signature.”
“How are we planning to travel to these “places”?”
“You need to be with the new times. We have developed faster then light travel speeds. And we have colonized many planets.”
“That answers my question.”
“Then it‘s settled we shall depart in four months and you two will act as if nothing has happened…but I will tell your mother personally.”
“Yes sir!”
“You two are leaving tomorrow for your Christmas break.” Yuri got up and started to walk out when Lt. Pyildro spoke again. “Take this picture…..it‘s of your Dad and me……he said he wanted you to have it.” Yuri took the wrapped picture and quietly left the room.




When Yuri got back to the room, he unwrapped the photo. In the picture there was a tall man with blond hair and a broad sword attached to his back. The man was wearing gold armour and had a shotgun at his side. Yuri rubbed the photo and whispered to himself, “Father….” then he went out for supper.
