The Diary of a Princess
Many people don't know me for who I am. They assume that I am nothing, just by glancing at me. If you want to really know me, then read my journal.
The Love of my Life
I know, I know, you thought this would be another Kyle entry...well, it's about my OTHER love. His name is Bos, and he is my nephew. Born at 1 pound 11 ounces, he is a miracle baby. We didn't think he would live, he was just so small. I met Bos on February 20th, his birthday. He was born via C-section, because he had complications. His mom (my brother's wife) began having contractions a few days earlier and was hospitalized to stop them. Bos was only in there for 24 weeks, hardly enough time to be ready. She was only 5 1/2 months pregnant when Bos was born.

This is my Bos a few days after he was born. He had his eyes taped shut and had tubes coming out everywhere. I remember the bruises on his legs becaus ethe fat hadn't developed yet. His head always had a beanie on it, so my mother decided to make him fun little beanies' to wear. She made an apple hat, bear hat, bunny hat, and a duck hat. Let's just say he was the cutest baby in the NICU. We visited Bos whenever we could, and I actually got to hold his hand after a few weeks. He always had to stay in the incubator, but as he got older, they let his mom and dad come in and rock him. Then I finally got my turn after he was a few months old. I held him close in the chair, rocking him and keeping him warm. He was so small, I couldn't believe he was okay.
Then my Bos came home from the hospital, as soon as he was big enough that is. Isn't Bos so cute???

As you can see his has the fat on his legs now, which is a huge improvement. He had to be attached to a heart monitor wherever he went for a few weeks, until they made sure his heart was stabilized. He was doing pretty well then, we just had to keep him warm and safe. He slept alot of the time, but when he was awake, I wasn't supposed to play with him. By brother was overprotective of him at the time, and I wasn't allowed to feed him or change his diaper. After Bos grew a little older my brother became more leniant and I fed Bos for the first time. I got to sit with him on the couch, but couldn't walk with him. He was so cute!!! As he grew older, I was allowed to hold him. This is a pic of him with his shades on.

Yes, his cheeks are huge! We called them chipmunk cheeks, and used to joke that that's where he stashed his chicken mcnuggets. At this time, Bos was beginning to smile and make noises. He was able to play with toys, and we would sit with him on the floor and play blocks with him. Bos grew older though, and by this time, it was Christmas. He wasn't even a year old, but he could crawl around. Christmas was a fun time for all of us, because we finally had our Bossy Wossy and we were so happy to spend Christmas with him. This is a picture of Bos' first Christmas.

Yes, his parents got him a little mohawk, which thankfully grew out. Bos got so many toys that year, his parents couldn't take them all home and had to leave some behind at pre-school and grandma's house. Bos was a little spoiled at this time, but no one cared. We were just so glad he was growing! He began to eat solid foods and crawl regularly, as well as blabber a bit. He adopted a cute little baby doll and absolutely adored it. Then he found a fun truck that he couldn't get enough of. Bos was so big now, we couldn't believe it! We celebrated his one year birthday (sadly he was sick that day), and we gave him so much love. Then his personality shown through and we realized he loved to attack his friend Celeste, and play rough with daddy. He's really stubborn, and barely smiles, but he is so fun to be arround, it's amazing. Here is Bos taking a picture for his birthday.

As I said, his smile is infectous! That smile is the cutest smile on earth, and I love it! Anyways, Bos grew older and now loves to chatter. He says "ball", "uh-oh", and "clap". He loves to do high fives, clapping, and dancing. He likes to bougie to music, and sing as well. He can now walk, slowly but surely. He is a football player just like daddy and loves his autie Leesie(me!). Bos and I have a special bond, and we love eachother so much. Whenever I sing to him, he just quiets down and looks at me, and we have a special bond. I love my Bos so much, and am so glad he made it this far. Now it's almost Christmas, and Bos is ready to go! Here is a picture taken 2 days ago with Santa, and Bos wasn't very happy. Sadly, he doesn't like strangers and he's waiting for me to pick him back up.
