Ed woke up in a warm hospital bed. He had a IV sticking out of his arm, and a bandage around his head. It took him awhile to remember what happened to him. “I’m in Central..” He whispered to himself. “Well done Full Metal, your back for one hour and you whined up in the hospital wing.” Ed groaned without even looking at who made the comment. “Who said I wanted you here.” Ed muttered. General Mustang stood up from his chair in the corner and walked over to Ed. “Can’t help it Full Metal you’re still under my juristiction." Ed turned his head so he was looking eyes to eye with The Flame Alchemist. "Oh come on, you're a general now and I've been on the other side of the gate for the past two years." Mustang smiled smugly. "You've been on the other side of the gate, but you were never taken off of active duty. Therefore you are still The Full Metal Alchemist for the state, and as for me being a general..." he luaghed. "That just means that I can choose what I want to do more then I used to, and I don't want to lose my leash on you."
