I see the shadows of ghosts around me
Their bones litter these empty streets
The screams echo on the walls surrounding
me
And me, till I too scream
These walls are growing ever closer
And lies and broken friendships stab my heart
As the clock ticks ever faster
The time has come for us to part
so pulling open the dusty curtain
Bringing sunglight to this place
So that, in hopes of finally seeing
Just one more glimpse
Of your face
