A true eternity
An endless abyss
There is always something amiss

A flattering darkness
That none can comprehend
A soul wanders lost with injuries none may mend

You wonder why it's here
This everlasting dark
Let me "cast some light" on it and leave a mark

Before the dark came
Everything was light
There never truly was a horrendous fight

The world was pure
Until that fateful day
When the devil reared his ugly head to say

"What an insignificant place
Take your last look on it's inferiorness
I shall smite you into sad days and weariness"

And so it was done
As the devil said himself
The world lost it's light and wealth

There was no more laughter
For none were left
The devil took all the people, high theft

Only there souls were here now
Of the hopeless and poor
While demons stalked them evermore

Only souls
Left to fade away or be taken
Left cold, alone and shaken

Once upon a time it was all light
Yet the end of the misery wasn't near
For the end was already here.
