So Sunday night I went to my first work holiday party ever. And it was great! The DJ was a really friendly guy who planned all the games and had lottery tickets and gift cards for starbucks. I attempted to dance to most of the songs and participated in all the games I could. (A few I didn't get chosen for, and I was quickly kicked out of 'Santa Says' )
There was also a raffle where you could win a dvd + vcr player, a shiatsu massager, a movie ticket basket, and a heavy duty kitchen aid with a 12 piece baking set. It looks really nice in my kitchen. twisted Best $20 we ever spent.
The chocolate cheesecake was delicious, though my husband will go on about the pumpking cheesecake they had there.
Oh, we also won 2 starbucks giftcards and a lottery ticket from the games. It was a wonderful night and one I won't forget for a long while. I just love my job, even if it does leave me tired and stressed at times. (And doesn't pay a lot or give me benefits.) It's still a great job.
