This poem was inspired by a part in Casino Royale where a building in venice was coming down. I proceeded to try to tie it in with my heart and how I felt when Nikk hurt me.

Betrayal
A word echoed across my lips
Thought you were perfect
the one for me
I truly thought
we were meant to be
Then the walls of Venice came crashing down
and my heart went with them.
Breaking
My feelings for you
Once I loved
now I ache
a chance erased
a huge mistake
Then the walls of Venice came crashing down
and my heart went with them.
Something
The thing I cherished most
A lifetime to look forward to
A life I wanted to share
Now thrown away
without a care
Then the walls of the Venice came crashing down
and my heart went with them.
Lies
A dream made-up
Thought I loved you
Almost believed it true
Tossed away
So much still to say
"I loved you and goodbye"
And that's when the last wall of Venice came crashing down
and my heart went with it.
