...it was then that i met Kiba, Tsume, Hige, and Toboe...
when i truely met all of them i could tell that my crush, Toboe, was a wimp.i could also tell that Tsume was hiding something from his past; Kiba was a proud, strong wolf; and Hige just wanted to have some fun.
i slowly approached Kiba, who was obviously the small pack's leader.he said that i could join them in thier quest for Paradise.i asked him what that was and he replied to me, "Paradise is a place where we can be free...a place where we can all live in peace..." we all began walking towards where Cheza was created.she was sad when there was no one from her past there.i rubbed up against her to try to comfort her.the peace didnt last for long because the militia makes it's move.
Cheza tries to lead us to safety, but only Kiba follows her.Tsume, Hige, Toboe, and i counterattacked, but were seriously outnumbered.When Kiba is attacked, Hige and Tsume save him, while Toboe and i followed Cheza into a small crevice.From there, she began to lead us to safety through a cave. Cheza had the most beautiful smile on her face as she led us to the back of the cave, where she opened up the roots. Once we passed through, she closed them, giving off the appearance that we disappeared into thin air.
we followed her until we took a brake for the night.Tsume still did not trust Cheza, but we fell asleep because Cheza was humming a lunar song.When Cheza hummed the lunar song, we all came into a dreaming trance.i dreamt of hunting with my parents out in the forest where i was born.
Hige, Toboe, and i got stuff for Cheza, like a fur coat and a set of boots. we then discovered some ghostly old lady was following us so we ran to Kiba and Tsume. Ignoring what just happened we gave the stuff to Cheza.when Toboe put the coat on Cheza she got very sad. when Hige put the boots in front of her, she stepped into them and became very happy once more. She started dancing, bursting with joy in her own quiet way, when suddenly she stopped in mid twirl.
Cheza knew the old lady followed us. the old lady walked towards us, and immediately saw us for what we really were, wolves. When Kiba told her to leave, she kept coming and took off her sunglasses and revealed eyes exactly like Cheza's did. In the woods, the old lady said that she was one of the Flower People, Hanabito. Her scent mirrored Cheza's, but was much fainter, worn away by time. Tsume, Hige, Kiba, Toboe and i sensed soldiers before we could talk. The lady led us to a safe place, her house. Once inside, she told us her story.
Kiba wanted to leave, but Cheza ignored him. Tsume interrupted a woman by the name of Cher's wandering by jumping in front of her, quickly followed by Toboe, Hige, and i. as the white wolf, Kiba took Cheza and left, while Cher stood motionless. The rest of the us followed.Cheza told the Hanabito she was leaving with us, and she wishes her luck. Then, Hanabito dies in Cheza's arms. Outside, the we waited for her.
we walked into a small town, as our human forms, and passed by Blue, a half wolf who would later become my best friend.Blue raised her hackles and growled at us, but Cheza bent down and spoke to her. Cheza told her that she was part wolf, but even Blue hadnt realized it. When Cher comes out we make a hasty retreat. in the outskirts of town, in a junkyard, Toboe, Cheza, and i were hiding in a rundown and rusty bus while the others searched for a way out of town.the military men were still blocking all exits out of town, so we couldnt get out yet.
we started planning to escape the town, but were overheard by some of the militia.
we went to the makeshift soldier camp, which was pretty vacant (mostly all the soldiers are at the junkyard). Quent saw Toboe, and remembered seeing him as a wolf, and gave chase. He stopped, however, when he saw Blue, wounded and limping. Blue tried to stop him, but Quent continued chasing after Toboe.we reached the Forest of Death, Quent spotted us and shot at us, he hit Kiba as he tried to protect Cheza. Twe escaped with our lives though, before he could reload his gun.
