Not very god but i does have a point

I was lost,
I was dead,
until i met this young red head.
She taught me bout what life was,
she taught me what it was to love
Her mom was high,
her dad smoked pot,
and still loved them no matter what
through all the scars and pains,
she simply let them slip away,
while i twiched my wrists in pain.
She was beaten, she'd been hurt,
her mother just pierced her heart.
Now she lay on the hospital bed.
"How can you lived with this?" i asked.
Then with one final gasp,
She looked me in the eye and said,
"If God can forgive,
then why can't I."
So now I leave you with one last request,
treat all you know with respect.
If they hurt,
If they kill,
Remember this simple line,
" If God forgives,
Then why can't I."
