Christmas
Two days ago it was our Christmas get together party with our family. We were about 70 people in my dad's older sister's house. When i entered the house, my cousins and my aunties noticed that i grew "taller" but little did they know i was wearing high heels lol. I noticed that my neices and nephews were getting taller now... i recall seeing them as babies and now look at them, the youngest neice i have is 4 years old already and the eldest nephew i have is turning 22 (well of course i didnt see him as a baby, he is 7 years older than me)We ate lechon (roasted pig), Sinigang Baboy(pork soup with tamarind), Pancit malabon, kare kare.... We also played this game. I forgot what my aunt called it but it was about paperclips. Basically each person (except the great grandchildren of my grandpa) will receive 2 paper clips from my Aunt. They will ask cunning questions to people and if a person says yes to that cunning question, the paperclip will be confiscated from them. Whoever confiscates the most number of paperclips will win... I was a fool at the begining of the game because my cousin asked me, hey do you have paperclips? and then i said yes... Goodbye paperclip... Anyway toward the end of the game i started getting more paper clips because my brother, my cousin and my aunt gave me paper clips for no reason... I also managed to ask tricky questions. I once asked my cousin hey is your son in grade 2 already? and he said yes. 1 paper clip for me. I asked my grandma, hey lola (grandma in our dialect), are you gonna sing later? she said yes, another paper clip. Next i asked my aunt, hey auntie, are you my godmother? she said yes, another paper clip. Then i asked her another question, is ate Juney(ate means big sister, but it can be addressed to anyone older than you)(Juney is not her real name) going to get married at Saint Andrew? Yes, my aunt answered, ha another paper clip. Everyone started declaring everyone enemies til the game was over it was so fun. whee anyways i won the game haha... after the game i was asked to sing by my grandma. I sang O holy night and i think it was ok. Next we played bingo and then exchanged gifts and we were done.
