my voice called out
with tears clung to my eyes
my heart will always find you
could you imagine my surprise
when I found you here again
looking up at the crimson sky
the air was stained with despair
black strands floated around you
cascading along your shoulders
how long I wanted for an answer
as my form carved into nothingness
I would wait forever
the shadows fled around us
forgetting what they see
letting the lie become a reality
choking, gasping for air
blanketed by the dreams of moonlight
never to bloom for me
