First off, I'd like to give a little lecture-ish thing about Lolita/Japan/Whatever. I read a topic in Loli Dollies. A member by the name of JuliaPegasus, if I'm not mistaken, clearly stated an a reply "Japan is not lala-land." This is absolutely true.
Sure, They're one of the richest countries, but that doesn't mean that there isn't some poverty. And of course, a good deal, though not all [ A lot of Japanese/Asian people are very very nice. <33] actually look down on foriegners [So spelled that wrong!]. For example: Let's say you're a fellow lolita and you travel to japan fully clad in a homemade outfit that you slaved over to get perfect. Sure, making your own outfits will give you some respect, but elitists will find this truely appalling and might/will look down on you just because you're not wearing some Metamorphose/BTSSB/Moitie/Angelic Pretty/What has you 10,000 yen [OR MORE!] outfit.
Of course, there are the greatly generous and kind people of Japan, especially Lolita, that would love to talk with you about your american/home countries customs and would love..well, just talking to you.
Of course, most of this is out of my own opinion and the opinions of the wonderful guys and gals of Loli Dollies Vanilla Entourage. <3333
[I'm sorry if this offended anyone. It wasn't meant to and I sincerly apologize if it did. I love the Japanese culture and I personally haven't met anyone mean from Japan. But sadly enough, a little bit of this is true. ]
World News and other bollocks:
Two days ago [Or something like that. I wasn't really sure..] Saddam, the former president of Iraq, was hung in the gallows. I didn't hear much of this seeing as though I was stuck up here in my room with my eyes glued to the computer with music blasting into my ears [SYSTEM OF A DOWN ROCKS! =D], but I think it might have been around 9 o'clock [My time?]
On Christmas day, the world reknowned James Brown died of heart failure. On the day of his funeral, with the stadium packed with people, the king of pop Micheal Jackson showed up [Late, as usual. [That drama queen king]] and kissed the head of Brown before departing. Reverend Jesse [Spelling? Sorry. It's too late for me..] Jackson also arrived along with Brown's daughter, who gave a spectacular show by dancing just like her dad up on stage.
President Harold [Or is it Gerald?] Ford died a while back. After being moved at least three times to have three different ceramonies, all with packed stadiums, he was finally put to rest in his Museum.
In Other News: My hand is cramping and I think I have a spider bite on my arm. Unless it's a sore red mole, I'm sure it's a spider bite. EGL is still the greatest fashion ever. <3 And My molar is coming in and it's making it hard for me to eat..
I Got a Creative ZenV for Christmas, I'm Agnostic, but still celebrate it. I bought the Tool CD and Thirteenth Step from A Perfect Circle, [HELLZYUH!] and I want the Dir en Grey-Vulgar CD.
CRIME STOPPERS:
My favorite sharpie has gone missing. If you see it, open it and sniff. =D
Remember kids, drugs will only turn you into hideous freak troll babies. You don't want that, do you?
With loathign and hatred,
