There was a time when he was unhappy. The dwelling and impending pain that ruptured his chest, mind and consciousness was devouring him, and he was welcoming the slow death with open arms because it was so much more becoming that living in this life. Hurt after hurt would tear away at him, and he soon went numb to the feeling that made him the happy. Loneliness was his norm, and insanity was his keeper. But a day came when he met someone, someone that would change his life around 900 degrees, times two. He saw her one day at something as simple as a social gathering, and was compelled to her that very moment. Something drew him towards her, and her kind, kinder heart and soul put a smile on his face. His feelings for her grew, but like before he was scared of the negative outcome of him telling her those feelings, yet she came out first. And something about her continued to surprise him, make him smile, and take away the numbness to give him some of the most joyous moments of his life. He didn't know whether it was her smile, her heart, the way she stares into his eyes as if looking upon his soul for minutes, or the way that she makes him smile in his worst moments, taking away the hellish nightmares taht taunt him, he just knew that it was her, and he loved that about about her, and because that was her, he loved her for that. And over time, blissful after blissful moments were shared between him and her. When she held his hand in such a gentle way, as if he was something other than the monstrousity he feels he has become, the longing feel of her lips against his, where something magnificent flowed between the two of them, something that can't be bound or comprehended by the most intellident minds and was only konw between those too, and the way she embraced him when he hugged her, whether it be as a good-bye, hello, or just to do it. She cared for him where no one else did, made him feel.... human... and if not exactly taht, close enough to it. But now she has been taken away from him, and he is hurting again, but this time, he is hopeful and he is confident, and he will wait for her until he can return to her again...
