hello...im not gonna talk bout today cuz (as you know) my school was today...
instead in gonna talk about sunday domokun
words needed to know:
Stallion: an uncastrated (that how u spell it?) horse
Gelding: A castrated horse
Mare: A female horse
Castrated: Someone who has had their balls cut off (this appropriate? im talking about horses mrgreen )
Well, it all started when i finished my lunch and was bored and jealous of my sister for getting to eat at some fancy resteraunt when i was eating crap at home...my mom called and asked if i wanted to go to see a show. Over the phone it was like "Eddie, do u wanta go see carvalieraaa.." and i was like "huh?" cuz the phone reseption sucked so i just responded, "yea sure."
my dad drove me to the verizon wireless amphitheater and there was this huge white tent sitting in the middle of nowhere. My mom and sister were waving from the curb. I got out of the car and i asked, "were seeing WHAT show?"
my sister answered, "cavalia." Cavalia was a horse show. i saw an advertisement on tv and it looked awesome. We went inside the tent to see a whole line of snack bars. i got some crap to eat and we went in...
as soon as i saw a gigantic screen i thought..."crap! its not live?!"
i asked my mom this and she responded...of course its live. As soon as we found our seats and sat down, the room darkened. The only light coming from the gigantic screen. It said it would like to ask us a few questions. they asked us how many horses they had and how many stallions, mares, and geldings. i got them all right. they had 53 horses, 28 stallions (wow), 0 mares, and the rest were geldings...after that, the screen flew up and revealed a stage. the show started
at first the show was pretty boring...just a bunch of people sitting on wooden horses, but when the background changed into the roman coliseoum, the exxcitement started. three people trotted out on 2 horses each...they were standing...1 foot on each horse's saddle and galloping fast. as soon as they finished racing around the stage, they started doing tricks. First, the woman rode FOUR horses (FOUR FREAKIN HORSES) and jumped over a pole about 3 feet in the air. Then, another male jump off his horse, over the pole and landed on his horses and KEPT RIDING! i as stunned. After this act, there was an intermission for 20 minutes. I just sat in my seat, gaping. When the next part of the show started, there was a Chinese background. it showed the terracotta soldiers and that crap (dont get me wrong...im not mocking the chinese...i am chinese) Horses and riders, 6 each trotted out from 1 side. It was synchronized horseriding and it was beautiful. I mean, even humans arent synchronized sometimes...then, the show moved on. This time a western background appeared and 1 horse and rider raced across the screen at a time! They were galloping at like 50 mph across a 40 ft stage! they did tricks too! sometimes they help on with one hand to the saddle. Other times they jumped off and back on! cool xp at the end all the riders came out and bowed. We exited the theater through a flight of rickety metal stairs. As i came outside i stretched my arms out and yawned. "That was awesome!"
