I woke this morning tired and groggy from staying up late last night.

After packing my belongings and washing up, I headed down to the tavern to get some breakfast and unexpectedly bumped into Daraunde. He looked down at me, then at the cloth covered Lunethia. His eyes became wide and he started to twist his fingers about.

"Ahh, umm...Hello, sleep well?" He said to me, he sounded a bit odd at the moment.

"Yes, and you?" I replied. He nodded his head yes and we stood for a moment together. "Oh! I'm in your way, let me move so I can let you get where you're going!" I stepped aside and watched him...but he just stood there.

"Actually, I was heading up to see you..." I looked at him in surprise, then laughed.

"But why?"

"I um...you seem to be a traveler...where are you going?" He looked confused, embarrassed even.

"If you want to travel with me I don't think that that will be possible.." I said cooly to him. I had lied to him last night about where I was heading, so I didn't want him to think that my final destination was somewhere pleasant, and besides, I couldn't take him along, he would just get in my way. Daraunde looked into my eyes as I said this and immediately looked down, I could tell that his ckeeks were flushed from embarrassment.

"Why not? I have nowhere specific to go...and you would probably enjoy the company."

"No, I'm sorry Daraunde...I can't, so go enjoy the rest of your day and forget you ever met me." I stared at him with a serious look on my face. "I'm sorry Daraunde..but that is how it has to be...I travel alone anyways." He looked back at me and gave me a meak smile.

"Okay then...umm....Goodbye....." He walked towards one of the hallways and dissappeared behind it, and I headed out to the marketplace. Lunethia wiggled under her disguise and looked back, she tried to tell me something, but I just shrugged it off. "Silence Lunethia, we are still in town."

After getting the supplies I needed, Lunethia and I headed out of the grand city of Kursack, and into the Forest of Solarey. I would pass through the forest and then make my way towards the Lake of Iven...a two and a half day trip..if you didn't get lost.
